5 Year Rug Warranty Policy

What is covered?
Our rug warranty covers any purchase from Your Rugs and Flooring that is deemed to be ‘faulty’ by Your Rugs and Flooring.

How long does the warranty last?
This warranty runs for five (5) years from the date of your purchase.

What does ‘faulty’ not apply to?

  • Faulty does not apply to reasonable wear and tear, damaging and color shading from everyday using. ‘Faulty’ means factory defects or defective as determined by Your Rugs and Flooring.
  • Faulty does not include pile flattening, staining and watermarking on the surface and/or the back, reasonable fluffing or threads pilling, colour fading due to direct sunlight, damage in over-locking or edging, damage from pets picking, and rugs used in an extremely high traffic area either commercially or domestically;

What does the warranty not cover?

  • This warranty does not cover fading or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or chemicals such as ammonia, laundry detergent, or household bleach.
  • Our five (5) year warranty does not apply to damages from incorrect cleaning, caring and storing (such as machine / hand washing with water soaking, brushing and beating, and improperly folding for storage) as determined by Your Rugs and Flooring and/or by our business partners or professional agents;
  • Our five (5) year warranty does not apply to indoor or outdoor mats, memory foam mats, kitchen mats and office chair mats;

What will Your Rugs and Flooring do?
Your Rugs and Flooring reserves the right to repair any rug that proves to be defective. In the event repair is not possible, Your Rugs and Flooring will replace it by another rug which, at its discretion, has the same or similar composition and equivalent value.

Please however note that under this 5 year warranty policy:

  • Replacement does not apply to “same item replacement” or “same purchase price replacement"
  • Replacement will only be made upon valid Your Rugs and Flooring receipt and cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • Your Rugs and Flooring reserves the right to decide whether a refund or a repair is applicable for the faulty rug prior to replacement.
